SUM Theatre -The Young Ones

SUM Theatre returns to City Park! We are excited to have this great organization and show return to our neighbourhood. Theatre in the Park is a summer tradition for many people in Saskatchewan. It is suitable for all ages and FREE of charge. Everyone is welcome.

The Young Ones: The earth is in a terrible way. The sun is too hot. The land is too dry. But the Young Ones are looking for hope. . .

Join us in Wilson Park for The Young Ones, written by Yvette Nolan and adapted by the Sum Theatre Ensemble.

Come an hour early (6pm) to do a free craft with the Nutrien Wonderhub!

Forever in Motion – City Park


Are you over 50 and wanting to improve your health? Come to a Forever in Motion drop in class at First Mennonite Church (418 Queen St) Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10am. (program started in April, but will be continuing!) 
No cost- Everyone welcome!

Bingo Night!


City Park School Play Space would like to invite the community to a Bingo Night on June 12th from 6:00-8:00pm at the school. There will be great prizes and a concession (cash only for bingo games and concession). This is an opportunity for the residents and school community to get together and fundraiser for the City Park School Outdoor Play Space.

Join us Saturday May 4th at 1:30pm for a walk through City Park!

DescriptionSATURDAY MAY 4, 2019 at 1:30pm: City Park might be a small neighbourhood, but it has many unique stories to tell. Take a walk with us as we stop and view interesting architecture, learn about fires that changed the landscape of our neighbourhood, historic houses, parks, resident artists, and even buildings that have been moved from across town. There’s something for everyone! Organized with the help of the City Park Community Association and led by long time City Park resident and retired architect Don Greer.
Address: Start And End Outside City Perks Coffeehouse (801-7th Avenue North). Please Meet Outside The Shop.

Have your say! City of Saskatoon’s April Open Houses

Spring is in the air, and with that comes change!

We have multiple projects, renovations, construction, and changes happening in City Park. In an effort to communicate with our neighbourhood, the City of Saskatoon has reached out and will be hosting 2 large open houses for the public to attend coming up quickly.

First: Wednesday April 10th @ City Park Collegiate 7-9pm Come & Go

All about City Park – this open house is to discuss 3 major projects in our neighbourhood

  1.  Saskatoon Light & Power – Power Pole landscaping at Spadina & Queen
  2. Where to place the Parks Satellite Maintenance Building (currently have sheds in Kinsmen Park)
  3. Construction information about the Water Main replacement

Second: Tuesday April 16th 4-8pm at TCU Place Gallery D

This open house is to discuss the Kinsmen Park Master Plan and will include discussion on:

  1. Saskatoon Transit to Kinsmen Park
  2. The Civic Conservatory
  3. Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan
  4. Meewasin Valley upgrades
